What Absolute Analysis gives you…
At the outset of every project we scope precisely what is required to ensure we meet your needs.
Our analysis is used to:
- Establish what funds are flowing in and out of accounts, usually those of the ‘other side’
- Challenge the asserted Needs of the ‘other side’
- Prepare a Needs budget for the client
As well as providing breakdowns of income and expenditure, we can identify questionable transfers, possible abuse of matrimonial funds and the potential for hidden assets.
Our analysis can help develop a client’s Needs budget by clarifying actual expenditure. Conversely, the analysis can be used to undermine the other side’s estimates by demonstrating what they actually spend versus what they say they need.
Our experience is that estimates of spend are frequently misstated to a material degree. However, it is hard to challenge these estimates successfully without presenting credible alternative evidence.
Our reports carry considerable weight by substituting estimates with hard facts.
Our main interaction is with the legal team:
- The instructing solicitor and/or
- The barrister, who often instigates our services through the instructing solicitor
We also work directly with divorcing clients and can discuss their precise requirements.
